Jamie's is the West Coast's Original Whale & Wildlife Adventure Centre, navigating the waters of Clayoquot and Barkley Sound since 1982. We are thrilled to be celebrating over 30 years on the water! We have the largest fleet in the area, offering whale watching & bear watching on larger covered cruisers or zodiacs! Join our experienced and knowledgeable crew as we help you discover this beautiful destination. We also offer tours to Hot Springs Cove (by boat or seaplane), kayaking, water taxi service to Meares Island, scenic flights, and much more. Visit us at our Tofino and Ucluelet locations, where we have gift shops and lots of FREE parking (including RV parking in Tofino). Please note that all Jamie's tours are subject to a $3 research fee, which goes directly to benefit local, non-profit groups involved with wildlife research, rescue and education. We also have complimentary kennels in Tofino for your dogs while you're out exploring with us!

Not the best whale watching tour we've been on. Another tour company advised, up front, that we were unlikely to see whales on this trip. The view of the orca could have been improved, but there was a definite reluctance to follow them any nearer...More

Wonderful boat trip to and from the Hot Springs. Chris had much knowledge of the area and First Nation history which was very interesting. Chris also suggested other things to do like climbing that I will look at during my next visit to the area.

Amazing trip! Chris was our guide today on the 9:30am tour. He did such a great job making us feel comfortable and telling tales of the region and of course many of his "dad jokes". The springs were beautiful and we saw grey whales on...More

The tours are a bit pricey (over $100 per adult) but definitely worth it. We took the boat (not the zodiac trek which required a full wet suit) and it was comfortable. The captain and crew of 2 explained safety clearly and once the boat...More

We made two trips with Jamie's, one for the bears and one for the whales. I think we were lucky. The first one for the bears gave us three sightings and the last one was great. Mom and a cub. Mom teaching the cub to...More

Captain Chris made this much more than the trip to Hot Cove Springs I thought it was going to be! He was informative and personable (bad jokes and all). He ensured we had an opportunity to see a gray whale and took a different way...More

Fantastic experience being able to see grey whales and sea otters in their natural environment. The boat trip on its own was great so the addition of wildlife was a bonus. Crew members. Keith, Rachel and Stephanie were very informative and helpful and we are...More

We have seen some wildlife tours, but this was definitely one of the best. We had in the morning a bear tour with Chris and Ashley and saw 3 bears. The explanation and crew's knowledge on wildlife is very high. In the afternoon we went...More
