Long Beach, the longest beach of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, spans an extraordinary 16km (10mi) along the west coast of Vancouver Island. Described by locals to be magical, you will be astonished by the amount of life that call the tidal pools home. You will be sure to find crabs, shells, starfish, sea urchins and much more. As the surf comes crashing in, you will find surfers from around the world carving through the peaks of the waves. As the water settles, it gracefully rides up the beach with peaceful trickles and shimmering light from the breathtaking sunset crossing the colourful horizon. Long Beach is truly a rejunivating getaway for all ages. Whether you're looking to kickback, explore, adventure, hike, surf, or just take one of those long walks on the beach, Long Beach has it all.

Beautiful place for a walk or if you like surfing! Not many people there in November so if you're not into crowds, perfect!

There are several beaches in Tofino, but we enjoyed Chesterman Beach more, as it is longer and great views.

A walk along this beach at any time is food for the soul. Whether it's listening to the crashing waves, the birds flying overhead or looking for shells, you'll find mother nature at her best.

A must see beach if you are in Tofino. We saw the military doing parachuting practice on to the beach the day we walked it. There are a lot of surfers at this beach. You can walk for a very long time on a very...More

Took a long walk along the beach which in October wasn't busy anymore. Lots of surfers offered us good photographs as well as a lot of driftwood. Not the sort of "beautiful" beach with fine sands but good for walks.

We were the only people on the beach which give it an even more sureal atmosphere also due to the heavy wind. Great place for a walk on the beach

We lucked out with amazing weather in October! We walked a long ways, dodging debris and waves - beautiful, with constant surf crashing on the shore. Peaceful!

We went there at the end of the day and what a lovely walk to do. Not challenging at all and you can walk miles back and forth. If you like surfing then this seems to be the place to go.

This is one of the best beaches in Tofino. Loads of free parking and endless sand to walk. Unfortunately no toilets and/or snack bar (like most of the beaches in Tofino and Ucluelet). Make sure you pack some drinks, snacks/food.
