Just what my friends who had been there several times before told me." You'll never ski a run where you cross someone else's tracks the whole week". Great team guiding our group out every day, knowledgeable, polite and patient. Can't wait to do it all over again!

If you book with BRC you are in for a treat. The day I skied was about two days after a 2' dump and we were treated to good bit of powder skiing. The guides Mike and Kieran were professional and still a lot of fun. They treated us as people and not tourists. The safety was top-notch and I... More

I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your team for our days last week. In my years of skiing, and while representing two ski manufacturers, I've never had the pleasure of working with a team with not only the talent of yours but also the heart. One would never had known that your company endured a challenge... More

Our family has extensive backcountry and heli-skiing experience. And yes, stuff can happen in the backcountry....but when a massive slide buries nearly an entire group, as happened to a family member on 1/18/17....it tells me the operators are either reckless or imcompetent. There is no excuse. You don't put a large group of skiiers, even expert skiiers, in harm's way... More

BRC is a large operation- probably biggest of its kind, and yet is family run. Paula appears to be the 'public portal'- handling the bookings and in the office pretty much 23 hours a day it seems, except when her kids are racing! I got a last minute spot on an advanced/expert cat, and was genuinely stoked, but worried that... More

That does sound like it's a fairly spot-on description of that time. Sorry the guides couldn't take you out on the steep untreed runs on your day of cat skiing. On some days, those simply aren't safe enough to ski, and their focus is on keeping you safe, as much as possible. There have been a number of open bowls... More

Caught a glorious sunny day with this cats after some powder the days before. Paula did a great job communicating with me prior to the trip to be sure we were all dialed in on logistics. Our guides were top notch & worked hard to find us good pow as the temp was rising quickly through out the day. We... More

We did two days with Big Red Cats and found the best Pow ever. Good, experienced guides and fantastic snow. Day one was challenging with drops and steep slopes, day two wasn't as good - not as challenging but then we had sun and that beats kinda everything. Not enough food day two was also disappointing.

Making reservations at Big Red Cats for a late March trip,we knew we were rolling the dice. It had not snowed in 5 days and the temps were on a warming trend. We were told not to worry. We had signed up foe an advanced ,expert cat and Big Red certainly delivered. They payed alot of attention to safety before... More

This is a first class operation that begins with ensuring your safety on the mountain and skyrockets up from there to fulfill your lust for untracked powder on every run. Last week my ski buddies and I had the good fortune to spend three days with Cody, Mike and Big Red Cats owner/operator and lead guide Kieren Gaul who took... More

Fantastic!! I have skied my whole life but had never been to British Columbia and had never been cat skiing. Our trip vastly exceeded my expectations and those of everyone who went. We had a group of ten guys and flew into Spokane and drove the 2 1/2 hours north to Red Mountain. We loved Red Mountain for itself. the... More
