We have visited other canneries, and this is the only one that is truly complete with equipment and buildings that have all been restored. The group tour guide was wonderful. She made the tour a delight. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely worth the 45-minutes bus ride from Prince Rupert, and the guided very much recommended. We had an excellent tour guide there. Everything remained in original status from 1972.

It is interesting to visit, although a little bit pricey for the sized of the Museum. It could be better maintained.

Interesting place to learn about the history of the salmon canning in the area. Local community is working hard to restore the complex of buildings.

We went on the tour and had an amazing guide Lori. I would highly recommend checking it out! Fairly inexpensive for everything you get to see and learn about the old cannery.

Really interesting site to visit. I loved the physical relics from the industry and the stories able to be told. Our guide was matter of fact but very informative. I'd love to see short videos where past workers tell stories of interesting things that happened....More

There is a bus from Prince Rupert (e.g. directly from the excellent Museum). Infrequent so check the schedule - goes about every two hours in the tourist season (which is fine if you are able to do a little advance... More
