Great Museum

This museum was interesting. Normally, I get bored just looking things but this museum had enough information about each piece to keep me interested.

There is a lot of good stuff here and it is definitely a place to visit if in PR. The main drawback for me was that the labels on the display were small and hard to read. Really nice selection of books in the gift shop.

Wonderful new building built to look like a long house of the First Nation. Well laid out with good details on the exhibits these can absorb you for quite some time so in some of the rooms take a seat and admire. Local artist had an exhibition there which was pretty interesting.

The museum of Northern BC is in a building that looks like the long houses First Nation built long before Europeans came to Canada. Some of its arefacts are 4-5000 years old. The museum tells the story of tribal life, of trade and also of the colonization of BC. Also there are many pieces of Native art, some as recent... More

This nice museum is located downtown Prince Rupert. Few people come here but I think this a great place to visit. There's lot of things to see and you could spend easily a couple of hours there.

This museum was a great place to visit and we found the attractions to be incredible. The tour that the museum runs is also very informative. I would definitely recommend friends and family to visit.

Very reasonable price to enter, only 6 dollars for adults and 3 for teens. There is plenty of lovely First Nations artifacts and a very lovely view of the bay.

If you are interested in the local history of the Prince Rupert area, this place is a must-see. Many very nice archeological artifacts on the Native people, as well as information on European settlement. There are also special galleries with art by local Native Americans/First People.
