Somewhat off the beaten path bet worth the sidetrip. We were directed up here by people at our motel. We thought why not, we’ll only be here once. Beautiful day and it got us off the highway. Fun addition to our vacation.

This park is awesome. You can run, you can hike around the trails. People are out with their families and dogs. Not too far from the city but far enough to just relax and enjoy the day. They also have a covered shelter which has...More

This off the beaten track trail system is awesome for getting some fresh air and some alone time. The trails wind through small lakes, some which are actually fish bearing, and are very beautiful. There is a covered space for shelter if need be, and...More

Very nice lake but not much of a beach! Some tables around and a bit of a trail from the parking lot. It is popular with locals and there are a lot of cabins around. Quite a drive from town and main highway though so...More

If you just want a relatively easy hike through the forest and near some wetlands, then this a good hike for you. There are not really any spectacular views, but you also don't have to work that hard on this hike, so I guess you...More

Eskers is well worth the drive out the Chief Lake road. The variety of terrain and the variety of scenery offer something for almost everyone. There are portions that are wheel chair accessible and others that can become a good workout. Interpretive signs and stations...More

Of course, in front of me and behind me at my home is Esker's Provincial Park, for 15 years and counting. Something most remarkable is the hiking trail is clear and mapped to allow you to bail-out to the maintenance road many times in your...More
