A nice easy walk alongside the lake through the trees. From the small parking lot you walk down a set of stairs then wind your way down the path to the Long Lake beach.

Beautiful spot in the middle of Nanaimo. There's a small gravel beach with a sectioned swimming area, small playground, and a place to launch a boat. The water is a clean and the beach area is shady until about 1:00 PM.
