We googled search to see which winery we should go to after our visit to Summerhill Pyramid Winery as there are many in Kelowna, and this one caught our eyes.
The area of this winery is small compare to Summerhill Pyramid Winery. We still enjoyed walking in their apple orchard. Wine tasting was C$5/person (cheaper than Summerhill Pyramid Winery). Sampling of their wine was done in a "hurry", we felt, but the lady was friendly.

If you are looking for a fun experience, something abit different, this is a must. I enjoy ciders very much so was only interested in trying them. The View offers some unusual but delicious ciders to taste. The creative setting also enhanced the tasting too. Small creative businesses need our support and based on our experience I recommend a stop here.

This is a great place to visit! They are a winery and a cidery, which allows you to choose between the different wines and ciders, or to combine both, as part of your tasting. I really liked this because at other wineries we visited, the tasting options were pre-selected. Two of our group decided to taste the ciders, while another mixed and matched from the cider and wine options. A bonus was that our guide allowed us to taste all the ciders they had available, not just the five you usually get (probably because this was the end of the day and what was open had to be drank).
The orchards and vineyards are absolutely stunning to walk through, and you can do this for free!

Did some touring of wines in this area with friends. Had wonderful staff to deal with. Absolutely loved their Rose and Ehrenfelser. The ginger cider was good, but I am not much of a cider drinker. Would return to this winery on the next trip. They do ship wines to Manitoba 6 or 12 bottles.

We did a cider tasting at the View (lots of wine tasting in Kelowna, so we wanted to try something different). Tasting room was dog friendly, also a plus. The ciders were amazing, the host did an excellent job with the story of the View Cidery, and being knowledgable about Cider. we left with several 6 packs, delicious.
Little different, and a little off the road from winery row, but worth the visit.

We arrived here after biking the Myra Canyon. We were welcomed by the lovely owner to the sampling room. We chose ciders over the wines and all of us found something delicious to bring home. After the tasting we were escorted to a beautifully decorated picnic table among the flowering apple trees. We were provided a delicious charcuterie board. It was something out of a magazine. Thank you!

Had a pleasant tasting at this winery during a relatively cloudy afternoon here in the Okanagan. Today’s tasting focused on their siders. If you haven’t been to this winery, and are a fan of siders, consider this place a must visit winery the very next time you are in the Okanogan. I think they’re open year-round after all.
The Pickers Hut, cider is my personal favorite, although they have several different varieties to choose from. Including one that has flavors, imparted from brewing tea, and another that almost reminds you of a gin and tonic with that pleasant juniper taste.
All in all it was a nice tasting.

Our first wine tasting of the year was a very pleasant experience with Lucas pouring our wines at The View Winery. Five tastings for $10, waived with a $25 purchase.
Wasn’t very busy this time of year, so we enjoyed talking about the winery.
Tasting started with their Elements Gewurztraminer that is a dry white wine, with the second one being their 2022 Ehrenfelser off dry white wine. This was a pretty tasty wine. (Gewurztraminer, 2022 was the third white on offering) Then I enjoyed the last three wines on their tasting menu.
Rosé was silver lining rosé, 2022
Silver lining estate red was a red blend, this wine could be considered a ‘gateway red wine’ to get people into trying and switching over to enjoying red wine. It is that good.
The final wine being offered was Black rhino 2020, Pinotage grape, only 4 wineries in Canada grow this 🍇 grape? Got to check into this claim :-)
Overall, a pleasant wine tasting experience.

We came upon this place on our way back from the Myra Canyon bike ride. Sampled and bought the cider, had our picnic lunch in the orchard with a bottle of their Pinot. Such a nice atmosphere. Don't miss it

We took a tour with Let's Go in Kelowna today. We toured the Fab Five wineries in the south east area of Kelowna. All of the wineries were very nice with a strong local feel you can't get at a giant winery like Mission Hill or Grey Monk. The View was the best stop of the tour and I'm so glad we did the five in the order we did. To end at the View was worth the whole trip. What made it so special was our host, Colin. He was so welcoming and enthusiastic. He really knew his wine and you could tell he loved his winery. We loved the wine and Colin. Congratulations on both a lovely establishment and such a charismatic team member!
