I really find it funny how many people give a low rating to this place based on the mosquito population for that year/season. I don't get some people... Compared to most other camping sites/area's in the area Fintry is by far the best. Large site's, good beaches, nice facilities, and to top it off some really interesting history and sites... More

We did not camp there, but were looking a for a fun day at a beach as we were vacationing in the area. The campsite looks great, lots of cedars and nice forested beachside sites. The day use is not ideal if you're looking to drop in for a beach day, but a decent place to hang out for a... More

Fantastic place to camp! Clean, quiet sites. The showers and bathrooms were very well maintained. The beaches were clean and not crowded. The playground for the kids was a nice bonus. There are some great hiking trails up to a large waterfall with amazing views of the lake. We went up with a group of 20+ and we would all... More

We camped here for one night and loved the grounds. We hiked up the stairs to see the waterfall, and my daughter loved the playground. The only downside is that the campground seemed to have a shortage of firewood and was rationing it out and it wasn't available. We managed to purchase 1 bundle late in the evening but, If... More

We spent a glorious 2 days at this campsite only 1 hour drive from Kelowna. It has 2 swimming spots , is completely flat and hosts a great waterfall when you hike up the mountain side. All accessible from your campsite. Biking is great because it is flat and it's fantastic for families because there are a few bike trails... More

We have gone to Fintry Estate to camp several times. It is very interesting to take a tour through the Fintry Estate Building and find out the history of this home. We also took the tour of the barn. Mr. Fintry was ahead of his time on his invention for electricity. You also need to walk up to the waterfall... More

It is a very beautiful park, but way to expensive! there is no dump, fire wood is late after dinner and you have to have reservation, wich cost c$ 6.00 each night, total of cost 43.00 a night, incl. tax.

We agree! Fintry Provincial Park is a beautiful Park. However, we would like to correct and provide additional information to this review. Although a large percentage (85%) of the sites are by reservation, Fintry does have 16 first come first serve sites. Additionally, except during the busy summer months, reservation sites can be acquired for 1 or 2 nights. Discovercamping... More

We stayed at Fintry Provincial Park in June for 3 nights. It is a medium sized park with good amenities. The park site is flat and directly on Lake Okanagan. The sites are minimally treed which was a surprise, as we are used to more privacy at provincial parks. However, the lack of trees gives one lots of sun and... More

So much to do and see, historical site, challenging hiking trails, awesome water falls in Spring. Restored manor house and unusal oxtogan barn. Great camping. Beach, boat launch, something for everyone.
