A very eye pleasing stroll

A wonderful waterfront walkway that encircles the park and carries on past Stewart park and on to the boardwalk to tugboat park and ending at a bird sanctuary.Very pleasant.

I understand that February isn't really the best time of year for going to the park, but we went anyway because we figured it would be a good place for a walk. As long as you don't mind stepping in duck poop it is indeed a good place to walk. No matter where along the path you are there is... More

Large park. Has a water park. Very nice water front and beside City marina. You may even see some homeless people there(they bother no one)

If you don`t want to spend a lot of money and have a family that enjoys the lake, this is for you. Lots of Free parking, stuff for kids to climb on, etc. or just walk leisurely beside Lake Okanagan and sit on the benches and watch the sunset. Take along a picnic lunch and enjoy for FREE...

We just moved to Kelowna this last summer and love city park. It has a great mixture for the whole family. We have enjoyed the spray park and gravel park, the beach and the boardwalk that extends up to the condos. Can't wait to try Wibit, rent a boat and sea-doo.

City Park and the adjoining promenade is a great area for early morning or late evening walks as the entire route is lit 24 hours a day. A few homeless people but I've never been bothered. Mostly just people and pets out for some fresh air and exercise and even some ice skaters during the winter months.

Beautiful park and we'll tended. The boardwalk is a nice way to see the views. And the kids playground is really cool! I love going to city park.

We have walked this park many times now and have enjoyed it every time. The park sits right on the okanagan lake and is any easy walk with lot's to see and do. From lawn bowling to skate parks to just sitting on the beach or jumping into the warm water.

This is a beautiful park- there is a walking path right along the lake with nice, tall trees. In the summer, there is an inflatable water park for kids, and the beach is quite busy. There is also a playground and spray park towards the middle of the park, as well as tennis and basketball courts, so there are certainly... More
