You can start at the south end by the parking lot and the bridge, and walk all along the lake and boardwalk past the Lake Okanagan Grand Hotel. It's a beautifully stunning walk, with benches along the way so you can sit, relax and enjoy...More

Everything is good about this park except for the abundance of sketchy people. Offers activities like volleyball, basketball, a water park, a wibit, beaches, lawn bowling, but there’s always that little hint of weed or nicotine in the air, and people sleeping under trees.

City Park is beautiful and has lots of activities for the citizens and tourists of Kelowna. The beach is soft sand but it is close to a noisy highway. The main problem here are the amount of homeless that can make it feel sketchy at...More

The last time I spent time on City Park was 12 years ago. I can’t say I enjoyed the visit, and memories of junkies panhandling filled my mind for the last decade. I was pleasantly surprised to see a different vibe in this current day...More

Walked around the lake area in the evening, lots of people out and about, with a lot of restaurants near by. There were a few street people in the area, but none of them bothered us as they stayed to themselves, but I'm not sure...More

This is a great place to hang out on a nice day. There is lots to do and see. You are not far from restaurants if you get hungry. The beach s great with things to do for kids.

Lovely views and a nice buzz about the park. It has a pretty marina with lots of rentals and a nice walking path through to waterfront park. Great for kids as it has an inflatable water park

This park is right downtown so is very busy. It is flat with some tall trees so there is shade available.

City park is great for several reasons. It's right next to the beach where the wibit is located. There are food trucks, and bathrooms. There is a large children's playground and splash park, but at present the latter is closed for repairs due to flood...More
