    Great trestle walk
Great trestle walk. We drove to the parking lot at myra canyon end. Last 8km is gravel road but no issues in July. Large parking lot, was no problem to get a space. Bike rental is at start of parking. Would have been fun to cycle the whole route but $48 per bike. Drop toilets at start of route. We walked 3km in & out - 9 trestles, 2 tunnels. Great views. Was getting hot towards the end as not much shade there

    Fantastic afternoon h
We walked, but wished we had rented bikes to do the whole 24 km return. We made it to tunnel 2 , was about the 3 km mark. What a fantastic trail. Very easy to walk - nicely grades and flat. The only tricky part of the visit was the drive up to the top…very rough. Wouldn’t attempt the drive on spring time or wet weather unless you have an off road vehicle. Would definitely come back and rent bikes to do the whole trail.

    Stunning scenery
This appealed because the trail was described as flat! You approach by a windy steep road but once at the top there are plenty of parking spaces. We hired the bikes online the day before and collecting them was straightforward + helmets are included. I am not a great fan of heights and at first I wasn’t sure I would enjoy this and I would say the first km or so seems to be the most daunting but maybe that is just getting used to it. After that I loved it. The trail is beautiful and not taxing at all. There are plenty of places to stop for a rest / snack and enjoy the stunning scenery. I went with my husband and we both really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Kelowna. It was a bit chilly at this time of year so I would take a hoodie or gilet.

Stunning scenery and a great walk
Loved the walk along the Myra Canyon Park. Didn’t quite make it to the end - but close. Fantastic to see the work that was done to restore the trestles after the fire - well done to all concerned. The views on the walk were stunning and if you don’t fancy the walk you can hire a bike.

Tons of ticks. I swear they are falling out of trees. Insane amount. Beautiful, flat trail but holy smokes I don't understand where all the ticks came from. We stayed on trail

Excellent place for an easy walk with great views. To do the entire trail you should consider renting or bringing a bike. If you’re not a fan of heights this may not be the hike for you as the trestles are high.

Not to be missed! The drive up is steep and wind-y, however it is well worth the time to get to the top and start the trail. We brought our own bikes and helmets, however there is a well run bike rental place at the top who were super friendly.

The trail is superb.. the views are amazing and the history astounding. Easily doable for even the uninitiated biker.

Beautiful views, but with a young family we only made a 1 hour hike there and back (we did not complete it). Not all trestle bridges have double crossed planks and little ones younger than 3 could fall through if not careful.

BE PREPARED , the road to the trailhead was rougher than expected.
8 KM of gravel/potholes and washboard. Mind your bike racks and be courteous to slower traffic , Motorhomes will be slow.
Was totally worth the drive , and taking a bike was nice so we could do the entire 22 k in a leisurely 2 hours

Walked from parking lot/ trestle #18 to 6, including one tunnel. Drive up to parking lot is 8 km forestry service road. We were ok in sedan, some rough pothole areas, took 15-20 minutes. Pretty overcast so my photos not great. Bike rentals available for half day, we walked. Outhouses in parking lot. Good information kiosk in parking lot regarding restoration following 2003 Kelowna fire.
