Lake Okanagan is just spectacular to say the least. It is host to quite a number of diverse communities lining its banks. There are orchards and vineyards surrounding it, and numerous opportunities for dining with a lovely lakeside view. Not to be missed!

Always worth a visit. We visit every time we need a break from the mountains and Calgary. Looking at the water makes me happy.

One has to visit this area to know how simply beautiful this entire valley is. 90 kms long, Lake Okanagan is a very very deep lake stretching from Vernon at the North, Kelowna at the Center & Penticton at the South. Also dotted with fine communities to the North and towards the US border at the South. The lake has... More

This lake truly is breathtaking. There are so many great photo opportunities while driving by it and I would almost call the lake a distraction to drivers because it is so beautiful. There are several restaurants to watch the sunset from and the two that I went to were 1) sunset organic bistro (slow service), is in one of the... More

The location is comparable or better than any location on earth. It's close enough to West Kelowna and Kelowna and all they have to offer world travellers. Yet far enough away to experience complete piece and quiet.

The lake is beautiful from every aspect and its length allows you to visit three towns and still be on the lake - Penticton, Kelowna and Vernon. Every sports activity and relaxation are available throughout the entire region. Local markets offer the freshest, crispiest locally grown apples for your edification.

A truly beautiful lake with great wildlife and good access at various points. Well worth a visit. We walked around one section of the lake and spotted eagle/ospreys and lots of other wildlife.

Okanagan Lake is beautiful - the colour of the water, the ability to do so many water activities, the beaches, the hikes near the water - it's just great!
