Wine buffs will love this area and the lake is just a bonus. I went there with my son on a business trip that took us to many of the local wineries. I think every winery overlooked the lake. I think this is a microclimate that is unusually warm for the area. I know it's gorgeous. I love Canada &... More

I was born here in 1963 and have never left. Why would you? Just look at the place! So much to see and do for free as well as excellent wineries and restaurants.

Get better view for photography if you can find the temporary parking spot by 97C south bond like what I did. Winter view is much better but lack of some worn weather activities.

Now, this is a location for all. It just so happens that in my time spent there, I was accompanied by my loving Fiancé a good majority of the time, as it makes for beautiful, healthful, restorative walks. A beautiful sunrise from the east every morning, and a splendid sunset on the western mountains overlooking the lake every evening. This... More

We rented a pontoon boat and spent a day on the lake with family and friends. We loaded 11 people on the boat, cruised around the lake, stopped to swim and cool off, pulled willing victims on the tube and enjoyed our beverages and snacks throughout the day. Amazing scenery! Make sure you have a designated boat operator with a... More

It's not just about the lake, although without the lake things may appear significantly different. Being a local we would rather keep this place a secret but on the other hand we love to host people from around the world. We know we have a very special place to live and play and we think you would feel the same.We... More

We were travelling from Langley BC to Kelowna to experience the winery tours. Lake Okanagan is stunning and surrounded by mountains. This was by far one of the highlight of our trip.

1993 moved to this beautiful area. Never looked back! The lake is a 100 miles of playroom, boating, fishing, swimming, water sking, or go for a hike in the mountains, or go camping in one of the parks - on the lake. The Fall is wine tasting season, and it will take a few years to hit all the wineries... More
