We went on the Christmas train with our two kids and unfortunately it was on a very cold night. We had to wait even longer outside as a freight train (which was running late) had priority over our train. Not their fault but it still sucked for us. The train is beautiful and impressive....until you get inside. The inside is... More

Rode the Christmas train. The ride lasted about an hour, it was nice, the staff were friendly. Be prepared to stand out in the cold for 45 minutes before you get inside. They offered a small indoor area and outdoor heaters where you could warm up. The train is beautiful on the outside. It was fun but I'd rather ride... More

Loved the experience of the holiday steam train! The staff coming around with hot chocolate and cookies, offering a warm place for the kids to wait for the train and 'the REAL' santa! The announcer was fantastic on the train as were the characters allowing the kids to hug and even check Santa's real beard. The cold was our only... More

This was called the Christmas light train yet the only lights were on the outside outline of the train. I thought we would go thru an area where there were lots of Christmas lights but there were none. Also it was extremely cold on the train.

Thank you for riding our Spirit of Christmas rail tour! Unfortunately we can only control the lights and experience on our train, and not the surroundings of the train tracks. It would be good to know what advertisement you saw that said otherwise, so we can correct it for the future. The cold weather was also unfortunate, but we do... More

Nothing like a ride on a steam operated train and original cars. Add in special events like Christmas and it puts a sparkle in the eye of everyone and lets the young see the charm in the old ways. There are summer trains as well and watch out for the bandits!

The "trick or treat train" was a pure treat for our 3 1/2 year old Thomas Tank Engine fan! It was his first ride on a train and luckily " a steamy". It brought back memories of a more sedate method of travel for his grandparents.

Very enjoyable train ride with added extras of can can girls and a Wild West robbery! We Especially enjoyed the Kamloops history incorporated and the points of interest along the trip. We stopped on the wooden bridge over the river and we saw a huge beaver dam in the water Cleese to the bridge. Then we travelled alongside native land... More

A fun evening train ride with lots of entertainment from Can Can girls to masked train robbery. Informative narration on the history of the train and the area traveled.

This is an awesome attraction, especially for kids who love trains...the Billy Miner theatre aboard is fun, but may be a little scary for the young'uns.. Awesome Kamloops History abounds!!! Well worth the cost. You do not want to miss this...

A wonderful experience that got us in the mood for Christmas. Period costumes, authentic train journey and a visit from Santa, Mrs Claus ( with cookies) and a few famous Disney characters combined with the hot chocolate and the Carole's to provide a fantastic experience that comes highly recommended. We booked from Australia, but on the night there were a... More
