Another small but interesting and packed full museum. If you visited the one in Nanaimo, you will notice many repetitions if you also visit this museum but overall it has a different flair and is still worth checking out. We visited in between music sets...More

This is another of those great museums that feature a lot of local history and the equipment that helped the area grow and prosper. They have a great train parked outside and lots of memorabilia inside

As part of commemorating Canada's 150th birthday I visited this very tiny museum hoping to learn more about the history and happenings of this small town. Even though it is just tiny, it holds many interesting exhibits and artifacts and two video streaming stations. One...More

We enjoyed our short time in this tiny museum. Lots of stuff crammed into a small space, some of it highlighting events that no one cares much about anymore but which give a sense of time, place, and outlook. Worth dropping in to view.

We enjoyed obtaining local information from the photos, displays and very informative volunteers. If you wish to "get a feel for early Duncan", this is the place to go.

This little treasure is steeped with nostalgia starting with the building in which it is located - the old (I believe CN) railway station. It is conveniently located right in the centre of town and in addition to the museum, there’s a small gift shop...More

We visited the small museum with a friend who volunteers to show visitors around. Good presentations of the Cowichan Valley area especially the First Nations and Farming. We visited approx. 2 years ago.
