One of the oldest Estate Wineries in all of British Columbia, Blue Grouse is truly a magical place! Nestled on a 32arce piece of unspoiled Cowichan Valley countryside, this family owned winery and vineyard produces some of the most awarded wines on the entire island! From Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Ortega, Bacchus and the very rare Black Muscat, Blue Grouse produces new classic wines from old island vines.

This is one of the most stylish tasting rooms I have seen. Elegant yet comfortable and the wine is delicious. Not to mention the view. Well worth a visit.

Had heard about the Blue Grouse from others and dropped in for a visit. Did a tasting of the only wines they had left, two whites and one red. The selection of the sold out wines looked good. Blue Grouse is a small winery, about...More

We took our niece and nephew from Calgary and we were all very impressed with the friendly reception and generosity. They were sold out of many of their wines, but still had a good selection to taste. This is a world class development right here...More

The things that many reviewers love, the great tasting room, the sleek styling - is possibly what turns me off a bit......... Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be swilling wine in the middle of a farm yard but for my husband and...More

Enjoyed tasting wine at this beautiful location. Wines are a good variety of Cowichan Valley fruit bottled under the Blue Grouse (for estate grapes) and Quill (for non-estate grapes) labels. The vineyards are fairly young and, typical of the area, contain a mixture of early-ripening...More

A truly fantastic venue, we took a picnic lunch and dined with a spectacular view of the vines after tasting and purchasing a number of excellent wines.
