We really enjoyed following the yellow footsteps around the town and looking at the varied totem poles, there are so many sizes and designs, it really is interesting. We did struggle to find parking as the town was very busy and the signposts a little...More

Stopped on way from Victoria to West Coast. Easy parking, easy to follow the footprints. Nice coffee shops along way. Had a picnic and back on the road. Pleasant hr spent there.

If you want to spend a day learning about totem polls and get some exercise this is a fun time. The foot prints make it easy to follow and is great for a family adventure.

The town hosts a spectacular display of totems throughout the town core. There are signs and plaques posted nearby which help explain the symbols and creatures and their significance to native culture. A must if you enjoy this sort of thing.

The tour is great, the totems very impressive, and the signage while very well designed and readable is far too brief to truly give the full impact of the meaning of the poles. It almost seems like the descriptions were written in a hurry the...More

We got a map at the visitor centre and the Totem Tour is easy to follow as footprints are on the sidewalk to follow. Well worth a stop for this alone.

There are yellow footprints painted on the ground for people to follow, and detailed descriptions of each totem pole in front of each. I did not see a printed brochure of the route but we didn't feel it was needed. I hope... More
