This is such a great place to "take a break," relax and walk the trails, picnic, learn about protecting species/nature in and around the community, swim and so much more! Our family never tires of visiting Scout Island!

Pretty little hike on an island jutting out into Williams Lake. One side has a really pretty view of the lake. The other side you are definitely staring at the mill. Nice little picnic area in the middle. Seemed like a popular spot for visitors...More

Beautiful sunny day so a walk around the park was in order, geese nesting so they were honking as we walked by. Nice location and very peaceful with benches at the waters edge made for a good visit and relaxed atmosphere.
