Scenic, wilderness and a bit remote may sum up the location. At Azouzetta Lake you can find log style cabins if looking for a neat place to stay. The hill is steeper but not straight down. On real powder days its fun to go find...More

Worth the drive! Especially if there is new snow! Chair offers some nice options but Tbar to the top provides the best runs and views.

We took our granddaughter to PK for her first ever ski experience. For about $40 not including the tip she got an 1.5 hour group lesson. As it turned out she was the only one in the group. We had our time mixed up and...More

Visited Powder King with my 7 year old daughter who is a ski racer. The temp was frigid so the hill was practically deserted. We loved this place, there are numerous beginner runs, a large variety of intermediate groomers where you can get some great...More

I have skied powder king since I was 8 and it's always been fantastic. You don't go there for service or high speed lifts. PK is all about the snow

We have had a lot of fun exploring the many runs. There is a good variety for different skiing and snowboarding levels: green, blue and black diamond runs, groomed and un-groomed runs. The people that operate the lifts and other areas (rental shop, snack shop,...More

Lots of snow but not much for steeps. That being said there's all the boot-top blue runs you could ask for.

I have had a season's pass for PK for the last 21 years. I am 55+ so the year's skiing is only $370. Considering that I get 50+ days a year, that's very cheap. The snow does not get better than it is at PK....More

Yes. The hill is open for the year. Generally it opens on the 2nd or 3rd Thursday in November. Every year PK gets a little better and unless mother nature goes crazy, it will be open for many years to come.
