Veterans Park in Downtown Red Deer Alberta is next to the Cenotaph part of a local war memorial heritage tour. Lots of information on plaques leading you around the park.

This is right downtown and is a great spot to stop and reflect on those who put their lives on the line for us. There are benches to sit on and watch the world go by on a summer's day.

Veterans park is a great memorial park flowers trees and peace and quiet. It's a Pokemon hotspot so family with small children are spending time together and the kids seem more interested in there Pokemon then the park. But it's beautiful

This small park is the home of Red Deer's memorial cenotaph, an important and historical part of Red Deer. Unfortunately, the park is located downtown, where the majority of the panhandling homeless hang out.

Home of Red Deer's Cenotaph commemorating those who died in war. Lots of memorials explaining Red Deer's history during war years. Very pretty gardens spread along the trail. Lots of trendy little shops open on to the park for a bite to eat or shopping....More
