Great walking and sightseeing paths. Birds and wildlife in their natural habitant. Great outdoor play area for kids and interpretive centre with qualified staff. Lots of flowers and plant and animal life abound. Fun place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Another must see in Red Deer!

Then stroll down over the hill and into the trees that lead down to the trout pond, along the Red Deer river. Very quiet and beautiful everywhere you look.... More

If you want to walk on a trail, it's here. Cool scenery and great trees on your side. I would come back here again.

A great place for singles, couples or families. A neat music based playground sits adjacent to the main building, which houses a small gallery, information area and gift shop. The degree of activity rests with each visitor. Groomed trails allow for a comfortable walk through the park's forested area. It has convenient rest benches and strategically place viewpoints. Seeing deer... More

I had some bird activity questions and found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. I also purchased a Chickadee nesting box which was very reasonable priced. They also had a good selection of nature books. Well worth an educational visit.

A great place to go and enjoy nature for a walk 🚶 or just to learn more about it. Interactive exhibits that even two year olds enjoy.

I took my grandchildren to the Kerry Wood Nature Centre while on their summer visit to Red Deer. It was a first for them and they absolutely loved it. The Harmony Garden with the natural instruments and the natural playground were both big hits. They also loved the slide, the spider web and the pump. The pump took me back... More
