Some of my most peaceful and beautiful photos have been taken here. Just a short drive and you are surrounded by peace and quiet and beauty. Good for singles, couples and families. I have never found it crowded...nice!

Great walk paths along the river. Usually see deer. Waterpark for kids. At the end of the park you can see the old brick plant across the creek.

Great trails along the river. Lots of birds, wildlife. Playground and waterpark for children. Picnic areas too. Sometimes in the summer there are a lot of pelicans where Seven Persons Creek joins the river.

Went out for a walk with my husband and step daughter. It's gorgeous out there, the only reason I didn't rate it higher is because they are still working on stuff down there after the flood. When it's all finished its going to be GREAT!

We like to hike down at Strathcona Island Park. There are many paths to take strolling throughout the cottonwoods and various shrubs. Sometimes we get lucky and spot a deer or rabbit, although, one time we ran when a skunk was only feet from us....More

I only give this park a 4/5 because it has lost some of it's appeal after years of recent flooding. The city has build berms to divert future flood water. Although necessary for the residents in the area, they take away some of the beauty...More
