Beautiful scenery with a hot relaxing soak.
Beautiful view of the mountains on a nice clear day. Perfect for relaxing and soaking sore muscles after a long hike. The two main hot pools are not that large and can get crowded easily at peak times. A shallow kids area is available for young children along with life jackets (PFDs) for them to wear. To get the full effect, you have to try dunking yourself into the one of the two cold pools for a couple minutes before heading back to the hot pools. If you have never seen them before, I also highly recommend walking over to the OLD hot springs building - trailhead for this is at the far end of the parking lot. An easy to moderate walk back in time.

    Relaxing activity
A nice chilled activity to do during our stay in Jasper, about an hours’ scenic drive from our hotel. It wasn’t too busy either which was a plus (no queues to get in), can imagine it would be less fun in the height of summer! Can’t comment on the restaurant or gift shop as they were closed during our visit. Stunning views whilst in the hot springs and going from the hot to cold pools was great! If we had more time we would have done one of the longer trails in the area. Overall, well worth a visit at this time of year.

    Relaxing & peaceful
Reasonably priced albeit no seniors rate. They have a family rate but two of the four must be youth. They give you a towel and a token for the locker. They have changing rooms with benches, showers, toilets and a swimsuit spinner. Shoes must be off right by the ticket counter and before you enter the locker room. Bring a flip flop if you don’t want to walk with your socks or barefoot. There are different temperatures in the pools. What enhances relaxation is the mountain view. We understand that pools are emptied and walls are scrubbed every night. Pools are filled with fresh hit spring water daily. Emptied water is dechlorinated.

    Soothing Soak
After two long days of hiking in Jasper National Park, a soak in the hot springs was a perfect way to soothe sore muscles and feet. There are 2 hot pools and 2 cold pools. The hotter pool is furthest from the locker rooms, and there are seats in the water around most of the edges of all the pools. We brought bathing suits and towels, but those can be rented for a price but they are not even slightly attractive. You must remove your shoes before walking into the locker rooms. Lots of good people watching while soaking. We spent about an hour, mostly in the hotter pool, but moved to the pool that is 5 degrees cooler before getting out. Be on the lookout for the young bear near the traffic circle. It was asleep in the tree when we arrived, and it was foraging on the ground below when we left.

    Such a nice relaxing experience
We really enjoyed our day trip here. As we were visiting during a heatwave with 34degrees C, we were happy to also spend time in the cold pools, not just the hot ones. The whole experience was very relaxing and pleasant, I could stay there for much longer just watching the amazing scenery (if it was not so hot on the day we were visiting). There were not many people, the whole areal is maintained and super clean, and I was very impressed by the number of life guards (who were also really paying attention to the safety of attendees, rather than chatting amongst themselves or staring at their phones). It was also very interesting to read about the history of the place how it was discovered. I really liked the old photos which were shown in the lobby of the previous "pool designs". Our compliments on such a nice and well maintained place! I only wish we could return one day.

We were staying in Banff and decided to drive here after visiting Maligne Canyon. It's about an hour drive, but the scenery is beautiful and we saw elk and bears on the way! The process for paying to get in (and, in our case, renting towels) is easy to figure out. There are separate mens and womens locker rooms and you get a locker with your entry fee. The two pools (one is deeper and a bit hotter) were both extremely enjoyable, and we loved that the pool was not super crowded. I also appreciated that there were plenty of staff lifeguards keeping an eye on everyone in the hot and cold pools. This was a great, relaxing experience that I would highly recommend if you have the time!

This was a great thing to do at the end of a hiking day. We took our own swimsuits and towels though you can rent both for a small extra charge.
There are four pools from cold to hot and it’s great to rotate between them. Staff were friendly and my only gripe was that the cafe was shut but that wasn’t super clear on the website. Wish I’d taken a book too!

The short walk to the source of the spring makes it a little cooler, so definitely do that, The wait was really long to get in, like over an hour because they didn't have enough life guards, but that probably made the experience inside better because it was less crowded. Those who enjoy hot AND cold pools will enjoy it much more. Overall worth it for the experience but maybe only once.

The hot springs are a 62km drive from Jasper, so by the time we arrived we felt committed to go. We were greeted by a HUGE queue. Someone told us it would be about 40 minutes but it took us nearly 90. We’d never have stayed if we’d realised it would take that long. The changing rooms were not clean but the pools seemed ok. The hot water was great for my aching legs and the views as you bathe are wonderful. When we left the queue was even longer than when we’d arrived. I wish there was a way of checking the wait times before leaving,

There are 4 different pools, with 4 temperatures. Everybody can find something suitable. The lifeguards were alert all the times. Historical information indoor is presenting well the past of the springs. We really enjoyed the visit
