I have always loved the Alberta Legislature grounds, but with the renovations in the Federal Building and the on the grounds it is even more fun. Beautiful flowers gardens all around, the wading pool for kids, food trucks every noon, and the gift shop in the Federal Building has the most interesting items. there is an interpretive centre which I... The grounds are beautiful. A great place for a stroll or a dip in the pond. They have a cute little spray area that is delightful for little ones when it is hot out. Lots of Pokemon go people playing the many pokestops. A whole day can be spent happily here. You can also do an interpretive tour. Very worthwhile

I love taking family and friends here. The tours they give are fantastic. Everytime I go I learn something different. Each tour guide has their own take. They all share different stories. The grounds are always well kept, whether summer or winter. Parking can be pricey. But the tour is free and sooooo worth it. In the summer you can... More

I took a tour of the Leg in October 2016 after many years since my last visit. I was struck by the beauty and grandeur. The extensive use of marble which was obtained in Manitoba is spectacular - the floor, the columns - they are impressive. I recommend you take a tour of the Leg, learn Alberta's history, and see... Always meant to go and I am glad I finally took the inlaws. I wish they had a German translator but that was what I was there for...I just couldn't keep up. It is such an interesting building and love the history.

The Alberta Legislature Building is majestic and it is huge as well. In the summer there are fountains, but in May, all we could see was where the fountains would be. It is surrounded by a huge park also dedicated to the Alberta Legislature Building. My 80 year old mother-in-law in a wheelchair loved that park as she could find... More

This was an amazing place to visit. Think you can pre-book a tour but we just pitched up and asked if there was a tour soon. As it turned out, it was just us two and our tour guide: Morgan was fab. He explained so many things, was interesting, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. That this tour... More

Just about every time I come to Edmonton, I try to go on a tour of the Leg. Every tour, I learn something new. They all hit the same high points, but every guide emphasizes different aspects. The building is a beautiful building, the guides are very well-informed, and never seem to shy away from telling some of the more... More
