Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Aside from the fountain, there's not much else to do here. During the festival season the whole area is very lively with tons of locals and vendors.

I like the fact that it is free to go in & walk around and the water feature outside in the summer is also free. Parking is NOT. LRT takes you downtown - but rush hour times & late at night avoid the LRT there.

This is such a nice place to sit and relax listening to the fountains. You can even read or just people watch or even day dream. Very soothing. I went there at lunch time. There were a few people but not crowded. It is a great place to hang out at lunch or in the evening.

the place feels like you are back in the 70's ,is not welcoming and the parking is hard to find,be very careful when parking on the street ,you may end up with a $75 parking ticket if you run out of time..Thanks to our visionist mayor who has ideas from the very far future when people will live under a glass bowl and ride bicycles at will in the winter and there are no cars ,this is a place that I would avoid to return anytime soon.

Nothing spectacular. After all, it is a City Hall. Nice wading pool near the entrance. And the tunes coming from the bell tower are a nice break from the city traffic. But it is not a "must see" venue.

The e park meters are totally unfriendly to coins. We have been downtown on two separate occasions with no meter parking anywhere to be found. To top it off, the paying with coins is a sham, as the coins slide through and then a credit card has to be used. You have to walk half a block also to find the pay machines. I would avoid the city parking meters at all costs.

The city hall was poorly designed and when it opened it leaked through the glass pyramid windows. The city hall should be replaced with another structure.

When you take you 2 year old around town for his Birthday just to hang out with dad and get "cultured", you don't expect to run into "the man", Mayor Mandel in the parking lot of City Hall, but we did... 5 stars for you

Nothing to do here but stare at a fountain. Edmotnon downtown is so boring.
