As a resident, Old Strathcona farmers market is a classic place to visit. Very busy, but wares are also pricey. The location is hard to beat. Right next to the Fringe, Ice on Whyte and any other Whyte ave festivals.

Excellent atmosphere and selection. I just went to explore, people watch and eat the food. Excellent restaurant at the back. Ate up on the balcony and enjoyed the best omelet!

All of the vendors are extremely passionate and the atmosphere is lovely! I especially enjoyed the fresh fruits and vegetables, and the boy playing the violin.

Not the biggest farmers market I've ever been too but has an excellent selection for its size. It has everything from different cultural foods, flowers, gifts, fruits and veggies and gluten free selections. If your gluten free, check out the chickie dough, Lizzys gluten free...More

First time I've been here, just expected a few meat stalls but it's not! Lots of stalls in a large warehouse type space. Lots of fresh produce, vegetables, fruit along with the meat. A few fresh chicken stalls along with an English Butcher who has...More

Love going to this market and picking up all the things needed for Sundays dinner. But it is getting very crowded and dumb people need to understand stopping and talking in the middle of the aisles jams up everything. The fresh veggies are great and...More
