Situated near the Bow River, this park offers lots of great picnicking options, an outdoor cafe and a beautiful wilderness hiking trail right in the middle of the city, a must do!

Convenient parking on both sides of the Bow River. The paved walks extend as for as you want to go (Calgary has the most amazing walkway network) Don't forget to stop in at the little cafe next to the bridge~great ice cream, amongst other things....More

The 93 is about a 5 min walk away.
Have you hiked up the steps on the Douglas Fir Trail recently? The city is saying that's it's closed. Just wondering if people are still doing it. Thanks

I hiked a month ago but it could be closed due to the heavy rain we had on the weekend. Hope you can do it later.
