This historic building is in complete contrast to all the surrounding glass and steel skyscrapers. Built in sandstone in a Renaissance Revival style, it dates from 1907. Long may it remain a bastion against the high-rise edifices. We enjoyed just finding it.

A nice building to look at, but that is about it. We went inside to check it out and the guy behind the desk told us that it was a school a long time ago. Now it is a government building.

Go there and enjoy the picturesque sand stone buildings. You can get nice pictures done when they turn on the "waterfalls" (small) in the summer.
