YYC is fortunate to have a theatre venue available for such a variety of live show performances. Above average sound balance for this size footprint. Visibility on most balconies and levels are "good -to- adequate "! Box seats have advantages. Reports of cramped seating are frequent. Beverage service can be slow --long line-ups. We enjoyed COLIN JAMES---excellent! Parking can be... More

Broadway across Canada recently brought the Musical "Kinky Boots" to the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. This show is absolutely terrific. The talent here is off the charts. I was also very proud to be seated in such a wonderful venue. The sound, the stage, the ambience......as Albertans, we can all be very fortunate to have such a first class facility... More

Going to watch Blue Rodeo for the second time. This time we sat down in the first 8 rows. The 1st time was second balcony, still good views and excellent sound. I find the seating very tight and cramped.(I am 6'2" tall also a little fluffy. I find my knees almost touching the seat infront of me.) But worth watching... More

Now I am a bigger type of guy - but isn't it time this (and all) theatres provided a bit of breathing room in the seats?? The shows are great, but very uncomfortable for anybody but skinny minis. Architects please consider my comments during new and refit designs.

Went to the travelling Broadway smash hit, Mama Mia and thoroughly enjoyed it. The venue is fantastic and the sound is unbelievable. Truly an unforgettable experience! Good parking. Venue centrally located to a myriad of hotels.

What a great venue at the Jubilee for the musical 'Mamma Mia'. We had seats in the first balcony with awesome views. The show and performers were just excellent. We are still singing all the songs! 'Thank you for the music'... At the Jubilee!! Love the theatre. Easy parking into the parkade off 10th.

I was actually really disappointed in the ballet but I was impressed by the Jube. A few years ago I noticed more and more patrons showing up in jeans, runners and hoodies, and using their cellphones during performances, honestly this ruins half the fun! Why spend over $100 on a ticket and show up in your junk clothes? Then ruin... More

The 'Jube' is a decent place for live performances that was renovated and re-opened about 10 years ago. I've been to lots of events at the Jube, ranging from rock concerts to the opera, and although I am glad that Calgary has such a venue, it is not my favourite for a number of reasons: the interior can be a... Very fine theatre. We had tickets on row A in the first balcony and seats were excellent. Parking opens 2 hours before and doors 1 hour prior to show time. Get there early for premium parking. Train station is very close by too. Have attended concerts, Broadway shows and comedians here all well attended.

Watched the "Book of Mormon" play. The show was simply awesome. Parking management could have been managed more efficiently and effectively; it was the weak link of the venue and inside temperature during the show was too hot.
