What an interesting place to go, the kids all loved it too. It's interactive and well laid out, so boredom wasn't an option

Well worth visiting as well laid out and very friendly and helpful curators. Even our two 7 year old grandchildren spent a happy time seeing all the exhibits and said that they had had an exciting time and would certainly like to visit the museum again.

Our extended family has visited the museum several times, and grandchildren have been here with school or scouting groups. We visited on this occasion as part of a Stampede Breakfast that was held in the adjacent parking lot. Free admission for attendees at the breakfast was very welcome, and several in our group opted to tour the museum afterwards. We... More

Over the years I've been to many military museums around the country, in the U.S. and in Europe. One of the finest small museums is found very near to my home in Calgary. This museum has flown "below the radar" for many years, finally emerging as having one of the finest & best curated collection of military history in the... More

We have enjoyed going through the museum as it incorporates all departments of it. Army, Navy, Air force. Also some of the different divisions of the army. If you are going give yourself lots of time or plan to do it in a couple of days. Very interesting.

This museum is a very interesting location to stop in to see. Two floors of incredible items. The lower floor has aircraft to ship features. Up stairs a myriad of many items showing a huge history in many forms.

I've been to this museum with my husband who really likes such things, I enjoyed the most on the plane section although I also liked the way the museum was organized and each section has great collection of statues and tanks some has place to set and watch short video explaining the war or situation that happened on the war... The war museum has a bunch of M4 Shermans or Easy8s. If you don't know what I'm talking about its just basically a gallery full of tanks, equipment for soliders, and planes.
