We walked past these statues several times while we stayed in Calgary & although we took a photo of them didn't really pay much attention, the Calgary skyline is much more interesting but perhaps I should have paid more attention.

This is definitely worth seeing if you're already nearby - but I wouldn't go out of your way. If you do stop by, be sure to read the write ups... and check out other nearby attractions.

I won't add to the debate and range of opinions about these Famous 5 women of Canadian History. The status themselves are not worthy of going too far out of your way (unless of course you're a knowledgeable history buff looking for a keepsake selfie).
