About
Canada's Sports Hall of Fame located at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary is closed to the public until year-end. Though our physical museum is closed, Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is committed to the integrity of our programming. We will continue to operate our online and outreach education programs as well as our community travelling exhibits when restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so. Even though we are not able to gather in person at this time, the team at Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame will continue to look for new and innovative ways to connect, inform and inspire all Canadians in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Unfortunately we couldn't see the museum as it's closed for the foreseeable future. However, we did go for a walk around the Olympic park. Saw the Sled run where the Jamaican sled team aimed for glory and learnt a bit about that episode. There's an ice area/training facility there which has some good info' in it.

I've visited the CSHOF 7 times since it's opened and every time it is a treat. There is just so much to see and do and one cannot simply accomplish it all on the first trip. I spend upwards of 3 hours each time reading and learning about all of our wonderful Olympic and amateur athletes, trying out exhibits and watching videos.

There is a special section of the hall that rotates the featured attraction so I make sure to check that out every time as well. Moreover, every year a new set of athletes and builders are inducted so I always ensure that I visit their lockers to see some rare and intimately personal memorabilia.

The price for an individual is very reasonable and for a family the price is top notch. Also, I often see 2 for 1 coupons given away which makes the CSHOF a great way for a group to spend an afternoon. 3 hours of entertainment for less that the price of a movie ticket.

Finally, the best part of the CSHOF is that one gets to learn more about our Canadian champion athletes and Olympic heroes. One gets to share in all of their lessons and stories and walks away with a greater feeling of pride. I rarely leave with a dry eye.

Have fun!

visited on a Sunday on the way from Canmore to Calgary. Easy highway access. Many interactive exhibits and I learnt alot about Canadian sports.

If I can be cheeky as an Australian not a very big Hall of Fame with gold medals!

This was better than expected! Spent nearly 4 hours here and for $12 CAD a very good deal! If any management read this, Audrey, a volunteer was FANTASTIC! She was knowledgable about all sports and collections in the hall and took time to talk to us and explain stuff. It was a pleasure meeting you Audrey! Lots of exhibits here for kids too, so come here and enjoy the Hall!

As adults who are still athletic, this was a fantastic place. There are all kinds of interactive venues that you can test your skills at, and get a feel for some sports that you may never get a chance to participate in. A theater which had a running of some of the historic Olympic feats, and running film in other places in the museum, gave some fond memories. The basketball exhibit with all of the Naismith items is especially note worthy.

The little three year old with us had a blast kicking soccer balls, and sitting in the various sleds and race cars.

A great place to spend a long afternoon.

This place offers an in-depth look at past and present Canadian success in both winter and summer olympics. All varieties of sports are documented with in-depth reviews of the origins of the game, samples of equipment and costume worn and opportunities to participate in interactive games. A very interesting and informative experience and many opportunities to participate virtually in the game.

Canada's Sports Hall of Fame is on the Olympic site in Calgary. They have amassed an amazing collection of Canadian athletes' memorabilia. There are interactive displays that allow you to simulate ski jumping, curling, swimming etc. Videos are playing in all areas to let you see the epic events. You will come away knowing about Canadians who made a difference to their sport. The displays are well laid out so that you can walk from area to area and not miss anything. To fully take it all in you could spend 3-4 hours or more. You can download a buy one get one free coupon on line at their site. Seniors are only $10. Parking is convenient and free.

A very interesting place both for young and adults, loads of information and interactive session using digital media. Many of the momentous are good reminder of the earlier days and how sports have evolved and how the 2026 Olympics may changes the way sports are contested.

I stopped here for the 1st time since 2013. This time with my sister and her friend. Her friend is visiting from New Zealand and is a sports nut so I wanted to show off what Canada has done throughout the years in all sports. There could not be a better place than the HOF. Everywhere you look is another wonderful story or artifact that's 100% Canadian.
The setup is also perfect. Just follow the arrows and they take you through the HOF without having to backtrack.
Cost was $12 and we ended up spending 2.5 hours there. Great way to spend the afternoon.
I left there feeling even more proud to be Canadian. I can't wait to go back in a few years to see the newest exhibits and members.
