This is a beautifully shaded park with lots of large trees for lounging under. The paved pathway system makes this a great spot for walks, bike riding and jogging. The pathways gently wind through the park with bridges, tunnels, a creek and a nie pond....More

Definately a highlight for young and old. A spectacular light show is provided for free. It can be seen from 10th Street but there is free parking on the roadway around 24th Ave NW. Walking in the snow around the lit trees is magical.

This park was open in 1967 to commemorate Canada's 100 birthday. I noticed that there is a time capsule and a sign states that it will be opened in 2017! Interesting.

Nice lights display for free in winter time and a golf course in summer time. A lush and well kept garden in the city.
