We saw the Bow River many different times during our stay and it never disappointed. Some views were nice enough to sit down and stay for a while. Great for canoeing and kayaking.

Nice place to go with kids and family. Better stay 1 night at Banff and spend more time there and hiking, a lot to see in summer time.

Bow River is very clean considering it runs through the city, and has a beautiful walkway running alongside it.

The Bow River starts in the Rockies and goes through the north part of downtown Calgary. In the summer, you'll see many people in the city floating down the river in inner tubes and little rafts.
