Personally I love the train, paddlewheel boat, and horse drawn wagon. I go at least once a year, go on each mode of transportation and then choose an area different from the previous year to spend extra time exploring. There is much to see and do from the car museum, train museum, early settlers homes, Indian village, candy shop, and... More

When you visit Calgary a enjoyable afternoon can be spent at Heritage Park. Walk around the old buildings, visit a blacksmith and experience the old west. Rides for the kids and old cars for the boys to see.

Wow, what a fantastic place. We could have spent far longer here but glad we made the effort to visit. Took the tram from Calgary to heritage stop and then got the 520 shuttle bus directly outside the station. We bought a $10 day pass so that covered trams and buses. Entry to the park was $21 each so about... More

Pretty interesting. There's a lot of houses and a few actors in costume, some older cars, etc. A good car museum. You can get food there. There's also a train you can go in a ride. Overall pretty good.

This is a fun place to visit especially for family with young children on a sunny and warm day. Friendly staff who are helpful and eager to explain the history - It has steam engine train rides, paddle boat ride on the Glenmore reservoir, few fun rides for both adults and kids, old houses, candy shop, bakery shop and of... While very impressive, it was also very expensive. Some staff was very helpful and friendly, but got some rude responses when I asked for ghost stories.

We had a great day visiting the park on its first official day for the 2017 season. The place wasn’t as busy as we thought it would be so it was great to walk around and see all the buildings. We especially liked how many staff members there were dressed in period clothing and ready to answer any questions. The... More

I have visited Heritage Park on numerous occasions - Christmas season, vehicle showings, Spring/Summer, etc. I have visited bringing with me children and without. In my opinion, visiting for the Christmas event and Spring/Summer season is more enjoyable with children. It's nice to visit once, to see the historical village - and the bakery is AMAZING... but after seeing it... More
