A one year pass is the way to go. Sometimes the animals aren't extremely active, but even strolling through the different areas is great! They also have a great outdoor kids play area. I would highly recommend going.

I live 3 hours away and I've taken all of my children aged 2-13 to the Calgary Zoo and we've never left disappointed. It's pretty well an annual trip for the family now.

Excellent day at the zoo. Most of the animals were out moving around looking for you to take their picture. Seeing the penguins marching around and swimming was unbelievable . There were volunteer's to explain the types and history of the penguins. Some areas were...More

I have been to zoos all over the world most recently San Diego and this one still takes better care of the animals. Love the enclosures and the efforts to provide natural habitats. Great learning for the whole family.
