This was fun. The oval is still a good place to skate from beginner to pro. It sits on the University grounds so you do have to pay for parking but bus service is good. The ice is good as well. The price is good...More

An excellent training facility, it also has public skating at select hours. University parking can be an issue at times.

It was extremely difficult to find how to park and get there. When we finally found the parking garage, you had to pay to park and walk through the snow so we just gave up going in. Disappointed!!

a legacy from the '88 Olympics on the University of Calgary campus. A huge building that is big enough for two hockey rinks inside of the speed sating track. A marvelous multi purpose building that still houses the speed skating world cups

Nothing outstanding. it performed its function and has continued to be useful for many activities that are part of the sports centre in this part of Canada. Speed and figure skating contests? Sure. Much else? Well, go check it out for yourself.
