We hiked up in pouring rain, totally worth it. Small lake tucked away above lake Louise, absolutely stunning. And with the additional visit to the tea house for some treats, and the views over lake Louise on the way up, more than worth the effort!

Hiked in June in the middle of a snow fall. Beautiful views, very comfortable path (although need to climb about 1250 feet over a bit more than 1 mile up. Agnes tea house is a great reward for the effort

The view is much better than Lake Louise in Mid Jun. But the trail is a little difficult for kid under 6.

Lake Agnes is a small mountain lake in the Banff National Park of Alberta, Canada. It has a surface of 0.52 km² and is quite a hike ( 3.4 km one way ) up a pretty steep mountain.

It's a trek up to this fabulous spot but don't forget you can stop at mirror lake on the way up! Take water and bug spray and enjoy the scenery looking down over Lake Louise!

If you are visiting the Lake Louise area, and you have the time to take a short hike, then I would highly recommend this hike. It's not the most spectacular hike in the Rockies, but I feel that people need to get out of their...More

Both lakes Agnes and Mirror lakes worth a visit, if only due to the fact that there are less people.
