Well worth a visit to see. A bit crowded but early morning or evening is the best time to visit. Worth checking Lake Moraine as well, I think better than Louise personally.

I enjoyed going to Lake Louise because it was very beautiful to visit and experience. It was also very, very busy. The high end hotel situated at Lake Louise is part of this attraction and as such, makes this location feel very, very touristy as...More

This lake has a breathe taking view of mountain and marble water. You can't stop looking at the view. great for taking beautiful photos. Has a trail that goes along side of the lake and continues up the hill and forest.

Beautiful lake, with sidewalk and benches. It's a large lake with a large hotel and lots of tourists. It is worth seeing and hiking the trails. I went to mirror lake then Agnes lake to the little tea house. All uphill!

The views here are, at worst, stunning!! We only had a few hours here however it was 100% worth the time. We managed to have lunch in the Fairmont Hotel too. Sit outside if you can.

The lake is beautiful... the unique blue-green colour and the mountainous back-drop If you're not staying locally then the drive (up and incredibly steep and winding incline) is long in the day-time queues and the parking, whilst accommodating, can take forever to get into a...More

A lovely lake and if you have time, walk down the side of the lake to get away from the camera clicking crowds.

I've seen it before and it is beautiful but I was very disappointed that I couldn't get to Lake Louis today. There was no parking and the attendants wouldn't let you in even if there was a car leaving. You had to go to an...More

Hi Annette ... There are canoe rentals at the boathouse on the west shore of the lake. However, life jackets are a must when you are canoeing, especially with children. It is a great experience, but I would ask at the... More
