Nice recreation area, good information boards. Didn't spend much time there as we were with a tour group, but it looked like a very family friendly place. The lake was beautiful and the falls were nice.

Lovely, long waterfall. The paved trail beside was appreciated. Free, family friendly. Street parking is an option but rarely available. Location is right beside the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

Not the most spectaculair spot in Banff National Park but a nice stop along the way. When time is limited you can skip this without regret

Simply divine. A must see if you’re going to Banff. Easy to get to. Incredible work of nature. Great for families and folks of all sorts.

A must to see. Nearly missed it as small sign on road. Stunning views. Free parking. Path uneven in places and steps

If you've ever been to Watkins Glen, New Yourk, this will remind you of the place! Beautiful falls cascading into bowl shaped stone cut by glaciers. Very lovely and glacial blue water!

These falls do look quite nice. We went there by car, since our lodge is at the very other end of town, so we literally didn't have to walk at all to see the falls. But it wasn't anything spectacular...

Having driven to the base of the falls I later regretted not having walked from the town bridge. However it is a stunning experience to see the falls and the scenery. (I tried not to look at the giant hotel). As I said perhaps best...More

We were traveling with the Rocky Mountaineer and visited this falls and while the volumn of water in late fall is not significant the falls were definitely worth seeing. Ample parking is available

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
