The place is so beautiful! You'll see the mooses and bears. The landscape is surreal!! There are glaciers a lot, there are forests that decorate the mountains, rivers and lakes with blue waters. Is fantastic!!

Easy hike and lots of beautiful views. There are some steep parts but also some level areas. We arrived at 3:00 and got back at 5:30, with lots of breaks in between

Looking for a quiet time in Banff, this drive is a good one. Beautiful drive and views of the mountains, with places to pull over and sit in Red Chairs of breathe taking view of the Rockies.

A little history as you enter Banff from Calgary, nice view on hillside setting. Campground is good, view of Banff Springs Hotel.

Tunnel Mountain Drive packs a lot of scenery into a 9 kilometer drive. It begins and ends in the Town of Banff. At Surprise Corner, there is a viewing platform for seeing Bow Falls and the Bow River, and for seeing the back side of the Banff Springs Hotel across the River. Then on to Two Jack Lake and Lake... No elevation - great for beginners. Not a lot of skiers here, fairly isolated, but saw Elk 3 times in about 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunately, they closed the park as there were wolves in the area feeding on a carcass.

Worth a look, it's a very nice drive. The huge area is worth seein, but as a Canadian I ask the everyone be respectful of the surroundings, the wildlife and keeping it clean.
