Just as the title suggests, I participated in the culinary walk, and was not disappointed. For a flat rate, you get to go to different cool establishments like Dave's Lobster and the Gahan House and try food and drink. My favorite is definitely the stop to have a bowl of mussels. Paul the guide was very helpful and knowledgeable and... More

What a nice way to start out 2017 by receiving such a glowing review of our Taste tour. Thanks for taking the time to let us know you enjoyed the tour with Paul while you were here in July. We've tried to provide visitors with a delicious and informative way to get a sense of Charlottetown by showing them some... More

We did a number of activities while visiting PEI but this was by far our favourite, hands down! Thanks to John and Jackie for their hospitality.

Thanks Jeannie. John and Jackie love to have visitors come to their home so they can take them clam digging on the shore. It's something Islanders do all the time and we enjoy sharing it with anyone coming to the Island. More

This was an excellent walking culinary tour of the town's local establishments highlighting PEI products. Gord was a great guide combining knowledge on the products and sprinkling in local history and character. Everything from seafood, beer, olive oil, vinegars, jams to fabulous french fries. The weather cooperated in late September for a memorable experience.

Thanks very much for your comments. I will let Gord know you enjoyed his tour while you were in Charlottetown in September....and glad the weather was nice. Fall is usually quite beautiful on the Island but it can occasionally be cool and wet so we're pleased you got one of the great days. More

We went on the half day tour entitled " A Taste of Charlottetown Culinary Walking Tour" Our tour guide Paul was well versed in the city's history and downtown sights. We stopped at a store that sold local goods and foods, then an oil and vinegar vendor ( very interesting), had a beer at Gahan Pub, some mussels at Olde... More

This was the highlight of our family trip to PEI. Digging for the clams was great fun and surprisingly easy (with John's help). After a delicious lunch back at their beautiful home, John gave us a tour of his oyster farming facility which was informative. I expect to see Pinette oysters at the same level as Malpeque in the near... More

Thanks Peter. We're always delighted to hear our Happy Clammers experience is a highlight of a guest's visit to the Island....particularly families. John and Jackie love showing everyone how we dig for clams here and it's really fun when we have children getting involved. Glad you also had a chance to learn about John's oyster operation. Pinette oysters are definitely... More

We had a great time with Gord. As it turned out, my husband and I were the only ones on the tour that day, which was just fine. We had both been to Charlottetown several times, but we learned a lot about the history of the area and tasted a lot of "goodies" along the way. This is a "tasting"... More

It's not too often we only have two on a tour but Gord loves having a small group because the tour is quite intimate. He gets to know his guests better so can do an even better job of tailoring the tour to your interests. Whenever possible we do what we can to accommodate any food issues our guests have... More

We absolutely loved the Taste of the Town walking tour with Gord in Charlottetown! Just the right amount of people so we could all hear, see and enjoy this easy going, delicious and informative tour. It's truly the best way to see (and taste) enough of the town to know where to go after the tour. Gord was very knowledgable... More

This was by far the highlight of our trip. A fun activity that is for all ages. John and Jackie were incredible in teaching us how to dig for clams and then serving us a wonderful lunch of Clams and Oysters. They are so hospitable and such nice people. My wife & I went on the tour with Bill Dobbin on a beautiful August morning. Bill is an extremely knowledgeable and informative person. The spots to visit were excellent and covered the full range from seafood to beer. I don't understand why this "thing to do" is not rated higher.
