Parking near Lake Morraine was a challenge. They have a small parking lot and NO shuttle. By 8 am cars were parked a mile down the road. Many visitors only go to/from the lake making it difficult for day hikers to find parking.
Beautiful hike! I would recommend starting early to avoid the crowds (and the packed parking lot). Make sure you check the bear notices. Some times of year you must have a group of four or more to hike the trail

the hike to The Valley of 10 peaks is very tough (difficult level) - but it will take your breath away! ( literally !!!! - LOL )

You need to start from Moraine Lake - we stayed overnight at the cottages there otherwise you need to get there really early to get parking and have time to do the hike. There were maps at Banff visitor centre regarding all the hikes in the area and we did the hike for free - no need to pay a guide
