We drove without expecting but we were in aw looking at the mountains and lakes along the way. We even chanced upon a group of mountain goats. Its a MUST Drive when you are in the Calgary area. NOT TO BE MISSED

The drive from Banff to Jasper is hard to beat...stop at Peyto Lake and Athabasca Falls for sure. Hit the Jasper Sky Tram...and of course the Columbia Icefields

We booked on the Rocky Mountaineer and the leg of the trip between Jasper and Banff was provided by Brewster Bus Lines. The trip is absolutely amazing along the Icefield parkway or Highway 93. There is no National Parks pass required. Many opportunities for pictures.
