This is a pub well worth a visit. Draft beer at £3.30 a pint that's always good. No dogs or screaming children and the place is always welcoming. The bar staff are friendly and, as others have commented before, Anthony is a great host making...More

Anthony the land Lord here pretends to go glass collecting and then makes everyone he chats to feel welcome with his quirky humour. A great range of beers and quality gin range. This is an old fashioned pub with no entertainment or loud music just...More

Very friendly atmosphere. Beer is fantastic. Mine host Antony is a lovely chap and keeps a good cellar. Prices are good too! Cross Daggers is great for a Sunday lunchtime visit. My husband enjoys it too. Roast potatoes all round! Brilliant.

This is a real traditional English local. Small and friendly great landlord and staff. My only gripe is its always too hot but that's due to the number of people in there!

Been a fair few times and enjoyed the quiz on a Monday. Smallish drink selection reminiscent, very traditional. Added bonus, there's no kids about. On street parking only, which can be be difficult finding a space on a Monday evening when its a full house.
