My brother in law died this past January... His wife of 40 years wanted to hold his celebration of life in a place that he held deer. So to Jewel lake resort we went, spending the weekend remembering the man she loved so dearly

Fairly private campsite was nice. There was lots of shrubbery and were lots of trees. Unfortunately the first night there was a loud party going on and I was tired so it kind of sucked. But that's the people, not the campsite. No showers or...More

I visited the lake as I have many times and as always it was a great escape from the busy life to get some quiet time. It is a great fishing getaway with excellent camping amenities. Hot showers and very well maintained.

This is a quite nice provincial campground at the north end..Very beautiful lake... The south end has the most horrible campground n the planet, throngs of people, kayak rentals and a little store..

A great little beach - they put sand into the lake so it is great for swimming. And it isn't very deep. The bathrooms are outhouse style but were clean. A good spot for launching your canoe as well.

Not at the lake. There's a "hot spot" on the paved road up there at about 9km (Roderick Du Firestone service rd intersection).
