This is a great place to learn about the history in the area. This was a rip roaring mining town 120 years ago with its own smelter. Nothing like the sleepy little town you see today!

Worth a stop in the self-described Canada's Smallest City. While in the area to investigate mining history, we found the displays well done and the staff knowledgable about townspeople to contact for more info.

Small town museums are hard to find, and this is a good one. Lots of interesting things to learn about this old mining town.

Greenwood, one the loveliest town in BC, for history lovers a must. This is where Canadian government had kept the Japanese in WWII. Beautifly documented their life, hardship, injustice. Many stayed after, now might see some beautiful young people with Japanese faces. As You finished...More

Very well done museum, price to get in was reasonable - cash only. The gal working there was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. What a great little town!
