Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A must to any visit to Leon. Very colorful, full of people with lots of snacks to eat while seating at any of the Plaza´s benches

Even thought this my home city, Plaza Fundadores is a place I always visit when I'm on holiday here. Colourful, charming and full of traditions.

This is a great place to relax and take in the culture of Mexico. Plenty of eateries from pizza and ice cream to 5 star dinners.

Lots of history here. Great old buildings. Colorful local performers and merchants. Nice shade trees and benches to rest. Something for everyone!

This is one of my favorit places to visit! Lost of places to eat, good options for those of use who are very picky, but also a nice place to just sit and take it all in.

One of the must see places in León!
With lots of things to do...has cheap restaurants, coffee shops, Ice cream shops, shoe shops, people watching, window shopping. The Best Hostel "El Armario" is right in the smaller plaza next to the main plaza. You have to try Leon's traditional drink "Cebadina". The only place it is sold is at one of the stores at the main plaza! Easy access by Taxi, bus or even walking. The Plaza is very clean and nice to spend a relaxing evening at one of the terraces drinking a beer!

Had fun strolling around here and taking it all in. There were lots of vendors out when I went which was nice to check out. Plenty of snack options and interesting buildings to admire.

The day we went they set up and had a festival with live music. The weather was warm for a mid winter day though still around 20 degrees Celsius. The locals were friendly though most did not speak English.

This Plaza has a nice old scool fountain in the middle. Early in the morning is a good time to people watch before it gets too hot later in the day.
