There are some fun days to people watch and spend money on generally useless items. You can get some good deals and have the ability to barter. Just look in multiple locations before purchasing for best deal

Not sure exactly where this was but we saw nothing to stop for. Very impoverished town with nothing to spend money on - except the shrimp. Gotta buy some of that!

I wish the the cars didn't park along street, hard to walk with the side walks full of things to buy, hard to get around to next shop.

We drove here and spent the afternoon. Stopped at Flavio's for lunch and paid with MasterCard since we are from the states. My husband and four kids had fun looking through all the shops. You have to bargain with every store owner... the good news...More

Stop by Old Port to get your fresh caught shrimp, clams and fish. You can also get pharmaceuticals that are too expensive in US. Don't forget to check out Satisfied Frog and Luckys Cantina. Luckys even has a free breakfast!

People are very friendly. Lots of merchandise to see and buy while enjoying great views of the ocean. Bars are great and lots of fun especially Shark Bite, Tekila Bar and Boo Bar!

Had lunch at Flavio's on the water. Seafood should have been great but wasn't. My review of our trip to Puerto Penasco is on Southern Arizona Guide.

I love staying in the Mexican areas when I visit Mexico: the street scenes, families, real life experiences. The Old Port historic area and Malecon do not disappoint.

this is a typical border town/tourist location, most prices are in USD and you'll get the usual Mexican trinkets. Lots of food choices, plenty of parking, and good views of the bay.

Best answer would be on the Google Map. There is no shuttle, that I know of, to town (Puerto Penasco). When I was there in November, I went to town in a taxi (twice) for shopping. You go out & back in the same taxi for a... More
