Hadn’t been there for about 4 years..... there are several new homes. But I noticed very few new businesses. Our friends are kinda looking for a vacation home, but to haul water and have to travel into Puerto Penasco for any variety in shopping.... wouldn’t...More

I loved the artsy houses here. It's a very small community- much different than the rest of Puerto Penasco. Two restaurants- one bar. Amazing views. It's far away from the rest of town but quite charming in its own way. It's quiet here and I...More

Cholla Bay has always been a "modest" place, favored by folks looking for a quiet but very reasonable place close to the US. It is sort of like a suburb of Rocky Point. It used to be a very inexpensive place to get a little...More

Pretty area. Small. In the middle of the little town. Not too many cars can really park here, but enough room to move around. Nice beaches, not much to beach comb here but still worth a stroll.

Well it is the first enclave of homes built that started Penasco, the homes are old and look run down but what's inside can wow you and surely be opposite as well. While looking for a home here we ran the gambit of looking at...More

We visited Cholla Bay ahout 7pm during a low tide. I timed it to make sure it was a low tide, specifically in an attempt to see as much sea life as possible. Unfortunately, we didn't see much; tons of snails, hermit crabs and soft...More
