Probably the best place to see the history of Durango. Interesting exhibits trace the history of the state and city. Make sure you take a guide. They will give you a much better experience than trying to understand everything on your own.

We stumbled across this museum because we had some spare time. The description reads like it is an agriculture museum. There is much history here as well as fine art. Don't let the description fool you, this is a very interesting place and we are glad we found it.

This museum packs a lot of interesting information into a relatively small space. We were impressed with the detail and scope of that information; and greatful that at least some of it was in English.

They had all the placards in English as well as Spanish which was helpful. Showed a lot about the area.

This is a very nice museum. Unfortunately we got there 20 minutes before they were to close. The people who work here are very helpful and we saw as much as we could. Sadly, there was just so little time.

Although not a large museum, there was a lot of history in there. Our guide was knowledgable, and spoke good english.
